Pharmacist

Qualifications & experience

• Possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy.
• Be a fully registered Pharmacist with a valid license to practice by the Pharmacy Council of Jamaica.
• Have at least one(1) year practical experience as a Pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Dispense an review prescriptions to  ensure accuracy and compliance with professional and Jamaican regulatory requirements.
• Be able to collaborate with other health care professional to plan, monitor, review and evaluate patient effectiveness.
• Counsel customers on the selection of medication brands, medical equipment and health care supplies.
• Keep records and other administrative tasks to include insurance claims.
• Educate patient on medication use, storage and side effects.
• Have excellent supervisory skills to include inventory management and purchasing.
