Medical Officer (HPC / MO 2)

The Medical Services Branch of the Jamaica Constabulary Force welcomes applications from suitably qualified applicants to fill the vacant post of Medical Officer (HPC/MO2).

Job Purpose

The Medical Officer is responsible for assessing, evaluating and prescribing treatment for the patients/clients through the Medical Services Branch; making appropriate referrals for further treatment that cannot be managed appropriately in the branch.

Education and Experience

• MBBS degree or equivalent in Medicine
• Graduation from an accredited Medical School, plus five (5) years relevant experience or two (2) years experience and an acceptable Post-graduate qualification (i.e. any relevant diploma).

Special Licensing or Certification necessary

• Evidence of registration by the Medical Council of Jamaica
• Annual Practising Certificate

Note

Salary range: $2,022,300 - $2,403,879 per annum and any allowance(s) attached to the post.
