Assistant Lecturer in Nursing

The Board of Management and Administration of the Browns Town Community College invite applications for the position of Assistant Lecturer in Nursing.

Assistant Lecturer in Nursing (2 clear vacancies)

The successful candidate should assume duties effective September 1, 2020.

Qualifications

• Master of Science Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution;
• Post-Basic training certification in a related specialization;
• Current license to practice nursing in Jamaica; 
• Teacher training certification from am accredited institution;
• At least three years nursing experience; 
• At least two years teaching experience. 

 

Note

Registered Nurses without teaching experience may be employed as Assistant Lecturers initially. However, it is expected that within two (2) years of employment the person engaged would have attained teacher training.
