School Nurse

We are inviting applications from qualified Registered Nurses to fill the position of School Nurse.

Mount Saint Joseph Catholic High School aims to be a Health Promoting School. We are a co-ed grant-aided institution in Mandeville, Manchester. 

The School Nurse is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the health program for students and staff of Mount Saint Joseph Catholic High School.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nursing Certification
• Be currently registered with the Nursing Council of Jamaica
• At least two years experience in a similar position

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent team work skills
• Self-awareness and emotional stability
• A responsible attitude to work and flexibility
• Working knowledge of the health needs of adolescents
• A working understanding of confidentiality issues
• The ability to stay calm in an emergency
• The ability to keep accurate records
• The ability to work on own initiative
