Requirements

Certificate / Degree in Dental Nursing
Degree in Health Services Management / Health Administration
Minimum eight (8) years relevant experience
Registration / Enrollment with Jamaica Dental Council

Responsibilities

Supervise the dental auxiliary staff and coordinate the oral health programme within the region
Collate and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual reports from the parishes and prepare reports for submission to the regional office and Ministry of Health & Wellness
Participate in oral health education/promotion programmes and in dental research projects to assess the effectiveness of preventive treatment and clinical educational programmes.
Visit dental clinics to evaluate the services offered and make relevant recommendations.
Give advice, to Regional Technical Director on programme development and matters related to Dental Auxiliary Services.
