Medical Claims Adjudicator

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in the medical field and extensive knowledge of medical terminologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in nursing or medical claims adjudication is an asset.

Core Responsibilities

• Review patient records to accurately code diagnoses, procedures and services using ICD-9/10, CPT and HCPCS codes.
• Thoroughly investigate, evaluate and settle claims accurately and in a timely manner.
• Determine medical necessity of services/procedures.
