Physiotherapist

Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants to fill the following position within the Medical Services Branch (Convalescent Centre) of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

Job Purpose

The Physiotherapist will provide support to the Senior Physiotherapist by assisting with the development, implementation, assessment, coordination and general management of rehabilitation programmes aimed at improving or correcting disabling conditions resulting from injury or illness. Drafting of policies and recommendation of strategies will be required to provide support in the maintenance of professional standards. 

Qualification & Experience

• Masters Degree in Public Health or equivalent;
• Physiotherapy qualification ( Bachelors Degree / Diploma);
• Certification in Supervisory / Human Resource Management;
• Minimum ten (10) years experience in clinical practice with at least five (5) years experience at the senior management level.

Special condition

• Licensed with the Council for Professional Supplementary to Medicine (CPSM).
