Phlebotomist

Suitably qualified applicants are invited to apply for the position of Phlebotomist.

Looking for persons who can work on a flexible work plan. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Vacancies exist on the North Coast as well as South Coast Branches

Requirements

• Trained and certified in Phlebotomy from a recognized institution;
• Experience collecting COVID Nasal swabs an asset;
• Experienced in the use of computers for patient registration;
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel;
• Experience as a customer service rep. in a medical facility;
• Practical nursing training or experience an asset.

Knowledge

• At least 2-3 years experience in blood taking;
• Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing);
• Excellent telephone techniques and customer service skills;
• Sill in understanding and following written and oral instructions;
• Skill in dealing with the public.
