Chief Medical Imaging Practitioner
The North-East Regional Health Authority, a statutory body under the Ministry of Health & Wellness with responsibility for the management and delivery of health care and public health services within the parish Portland, is seeking a dynamic, proactive and forward thinking individual to fill the position of Chief Medical Imaging Practitioner (HPC/MIP 4) at Portland.
Summary
Reporting to the Senior Medical Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for performing activities associated with delivery of diagnostic radiography services within a specified radiology facility.
Requirements
- First degree in Diagnostic Imaging or equivalent.
- One (1) year experience in a similar position.
- Certificate in Supervisory Management.
Responsibilities
- Performing routine and emergency radiography according to international standards and as per clinical requisition.
- Supervising staff assigned to the area.
- Monitoring performance of imaging equipment within the department.
- Conducts analytical and operational surveys regarding departmental activities, including compiling statistical data associated with the department and doing monthly reports.
Remuneration
- Salary Scale: $1,689,672 – 2,008,490 per annum along with any other allowance(s) attached to the post.
