College Nurse

G.C. Foster College of Physical Education and Sport invites qualified individuals to tender applications for the position of College Nurse (RN 2).

Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice Principal - Administration, the incumbent will provide primary health care services for the Colleges students and staff; participate in health promotion programs and giving advice on matters relating to health. The  incumbent is also responsible to assess, plan, execute and evaluate health care programs of the College.

Minimum qualification and Experience

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing;
• At least three (3) years experience in a Nursing capacity;
• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse and have a current CPR certification.

• Ability to demonstrate flexibility, work on own initiative and under pressure.

Special conditions associated with the job

• May be required to attend meetings and meet deadlines;
• Must be required to work beyond normal working hours;
• Must be able to perform full range of motion activities such as but not limited to walking, standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs unassisted) or climbing steps while performing duties.
• Must be able to use touch, sight and hearing in performing physical assessments.
