CPR Instructor
The Heart Foundation Jamaica has a vacancy for an enthusiastic professional to join our team. The incumbent will be responsible for conducting American Heart Association (AHA) Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) and HFJ courses island-wide. He/she will give health education talk as required. He/she will assist with the Schools Health Programme as required. (ECC includes all the AHA courses and any HFJ course including the ECG Dysrhythmia, Cardiopulmonary (CPR) and First Aid (FA) courses for health professionals and lay persons).
Qualifications
- A health related background eg. nursing, EMT or a teaching diploma/degree in a related field eg. biology/human and social biology or physical education;
- Experience in teaching or making presentations;
- Be willing to travel island wide, stay overnight when necessary and work on weekends and public holidays;
- Be able to work on own initiative and possess good organizational skills;
- Good command of the English Language.
