Consultant Psychiatrist (MO4)

Position: Consultant Psychiatrist (HPC/MO4)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants to fill the following position within the Medical Services Branch of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

Job Purpose

The incumbent is responsible for developing and providing strategic direction and oversight for a comprehensive mental health services to all members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force, sworn and unsworn, as well as their immediate family members.

Education & Experience

• A first degree in medicine: MBBS, MS;
• Completed a four (4) year post-graduate in psychiatry leading to the Doctor of Medicine in Psychiatry or its equivalent;
• Post-doctoral studies in a psychiatry sub-specialty or related field;
• At least six (6) years related experience.

Salary

Salary range: $10,736,500 - $12,793,230 per annum
