The Western Regional Health Authority (a Statutory Body of the Ministry of Health & Wellness) is currently seeking to employ the following:

Post: Medical Officer (HPC/MO 1)

Location:  Savanna-La-Mar Hospital

Salary scale:  $6,799,334 - $8,082,271 per annum

Summary

Contributes to the overall delivery of healthcare  services in the hospital, in accordance with  established policies, guidelines, protocols and regulations. The Medical Officer performs  medical diagnoses, administers treatments, and  manages patient care to ensure an appropriate balance in  the delivery of care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Medical School;
• Fully registered with the Medical Council of Jamaica;
• Satisfactory completion of Internship and Senior House Officer Programme;
• A minimum of two (2) years post-graduate
  experience.
