Patient Care Assistant

The Western Regional Health Authority (a Statutory Body of the Ministry of Health & Wellness) is currently seeking to employ the following:

Post: Patient Care Assistant (HSC/HS 5)

Location:  Savanna-La-Mar Hospital

Salary scale:  $1,792,163 – 2,130,319 per annum

Summary

Assist with the care of the patients, clean and  tidy all clinical space and equipment, accompanies patients that are being transferred  in and out of the hospital and ensure that supplies are available for use in the area.

Requirements

• Four (4) CXC subjects including English and a numeric subject;
• Experience in a similar capacity would be an asset;
• Specify licensing or certification necessary for the job.
