Medical Doctor (MO1 - MO4)

The Western Regional Health Authority, a statutory body under the Ministry of Health with responsibility for the management and operation of Public Health Services within the parishes of St. James, Hanover, Trelawny, & Westmoreland invites applications from qualified professionals for the following positions below:

Location: Savanna-La-Mar Hospital

Positions

• Consultant, Accident & Emergency - HPC/MO 4
• Senior Resident (Internal Medicine), HPC/MO3
• Medical Officers (Junior Residents) - HPC/MO 1
• Medical Officers (Residents) - HPC/MO 2
• Consultant, General Surgery - HPC/MO 4

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited medical school.
• Registration with the Medical Council of Jamaica.
• Current Practicing Certificate
• Five (5) years relevant post-registration experience (HPC/MO2 & HPC/MO4 only)
• Postgraduate degree in relevant medical specialty (HPC/MO3 & HPC/MO4 only)
