The Western Regional Health Authority, a statutory body under the Ministry of Health with responsibility for the management and operation of Public Health Services within the parishes of St. James, Hanover, Trelawny & Westmoreland invites applications from qualified professionals for the following positions below:

Savanna-La-Mar Hospital

• Consultant, Paediatrics - HPC/MO4
• Consultant, Accident & Emergency - HPC/MO 4
• Senior Resident, Anaesthesiology - HPC/MO 3
• Senior Resident, Orthopaedics - HPC/MO 3
• Medical Officers, Residents - HPC/MO 2 
• Medical Officers, Junior Residents - HPC/MO 1

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Registration with the Medical/Dental Council of Jamaica.
• Current Practicing Certificate
• Five (5) years relevant post-registration experience (HPC/MO2 – HPC/MO4 and HPC/DS 5 only)
• Postgraduate degree in relevant medical specialty (HPC/MO3, HPC/MO4, HPC/DS 4 and HPC/DS 5 only)
