Research Nurse
Position: Research Nurse
Department: Caribbean Institute for Health Research (CHAIR) Grade 9
Qualification & Experience
- An Undergraduate Degree in Nursing
- Certification as a Registered Nurse
- A minimum of four (4) to five (5) years experience in general nursing of which two (2) year's should be in a research environment
- Post basic nursing training either as a Public Health / Nurse practitioner
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care to persons utilizing the outpatient or in-patient services of the institute;
- Assist in the management and implementation of research protocols, including trials at the institute;
- Assist in the management and implementation of the neonatal screening programme of the Sickle Cell Unit and;
- Assist in the education of other health care professionals about diseases that are of interest to the institute.

- Microsoft Office Suite
- Presentation skills
